Terms of service
Last updated 30 August 2026
TargetMate is operated by Spark Logic Pty Ltd (ABN 77 638 192 275). By signing in and using the app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it.
What TargetMate is
A logbook for target shooting scores, built for 50m rimfire benchrest and skeet. It records what you shot, works out your averages and personal bests, and lets you compare with other members of clubs you join.
It is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or run on behalf of the WRABF, the SSAA, or any club, range or governing body whose courses of fire it supports.
Scores are not official
This is the important one. Scores in TargetMate — including anything produced by the automatic card scorer — are a personal record, not an official result. The scorer reads a photograph and can be wrong, which is why it asks you to confirm every card before the score is kept.
Official scoring is whatever the range, match officials or governing body say it is. Do not rely on TargetMate to settle a competition result, a classification, or a record claim.
Your account
You sign in with a Google account and you are responsible for what happens under yours. Tell us if you think someone else has access to it. You must be old enough to hold a Google account and to lawfully take part in the shooting activities you are logging.
Your content
Your shoots, photos and notes remain yours. You give us permission to store and display them for the purpose of running the app for you — including showing your scores to other members of clubs you join and to opponents in challenges you enter, as described in the privacy policy. We claim no other rights over them.
Acceptable use
Do not use TargetMate to break the law, upload other people's personal information without their consent, upload anything you do not have the right to, or attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the service. We may suspend or remove accounts that do.
Availability
The app is provided as it is. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it, and we do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Keep your own record of anything you cannot afford to lose.
Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, and to the extent the law permits, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for lost data, arising from your use of the app, and our total liability is limited to resupplying the service.
Ending it
You can stop using TargetMate at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may end your access if you breach these terms.
Changes and contact
If these terms change we will update this page and the date at the top. These terms are governed by the law of New South Wales, Australia, and you and we submit to the courts of that state. Contact us at chad.moffiet@sparklogic.com.au.
